I have a huge passion for exercise and health with over 20 years of fitness and nutrition experience.
Regarding nutrition I have tried a variety of approaches over the years but recently I made the decision along with my wife Nikki to try the Paleo diet.
Although I wouldn´t call us hardcore paleo followers (I don´t like extremes) we have followed the paleo framework pretty closely and had great results in terms of looking and feeling better.
It is because of this experience that has led to me to set up this site and pass along any advice I can to help others that are considering or trying to incorporate the Paleo lifestyle.
My wife and I are both from the UK but we now live in Southern Spain along with our daughter and two cats.
We both have a passion for health, fitness, and nutrition. Of course with my wife being the better cook of the two although I am getting better I still care a lot about nutrition.
In terms of fitness we both love using weights and found that combining this type of training with a paleo approach has a great combination for managing body composition, but more about that later.
I have worked as a fitness and nutrition coach for over 10 years although now I have moved into the area of the industry.
I don’t want you to think that I have all the answers when it comes to nutrition, health and fitness.
I’m still continuing to learn and don’t ever intend on stopping my search for the best information.
My intention with this site is to deliver the information that I know is useful and reject what I think is not.
My message is always the same.
Just start then worry about the details.
The main priority when making any changes in your life is to just start small and build up from there.
Don’t fret over every little thing you eat or don’t eat.
If you get it wrong some days, so what. Just write it off and get back on track as soon as you can.
The main thing is to enjoy food, it is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
